What We Offer? $1,000 Hiring Bonus 100% Employee Insurance Coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision) 50% Dependent Health Benefits 401(k) with Company Match Paid Holidays, and a Generous PTO Policy Opportunities for Career Growth What You'll Do: Operate blasting equipment to strip coatings and surface contaminants from railcar bodies and large surface areas Prepare surfaces for painting or coating following quality and safety standards Load and unload materials into the blasting booth Adjust and monitor abrasive flow setting on blasting machines Clean and maintain blasting tools and booth area Communicate surface preparation status to leads and supervisors What We're Looking For: High School Diploma or equivalent (Technical certification is a plus) 2+ years of experience in blasting or industrial surface prep Understanding of abrasive materials, blasting tools, and proper safety procedures Ability to follow work instructions and read blueprints Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship Ability to work independently or as part of a team Physical and Other Requirements: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test May need to work at heights of up to 20 feet Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and perform manual tasks Occasionally required to kneel, stoop, or climb Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Ready to Build Your Future with Us?
