Job Description

The. Platform Manager at Jefferson Health (JH), in partnership with enterprise stakeholders, is critical to 1) Facilitate an integrated digital workplace (One Jefferson - Unily) and related communication platforms (SharePoint, Visix and other digital signage), improving internal collaboration, effective communication, and staff productivity across the enterprise. 2) Lead and manage platform consolidation of multiple Salesforce instances, directly address ongoing cost management challenges, and streamlining the demand/delivery of capabilities and workflows across provider recruitment, philanthropy, marketing, consumer experience, population health management, and provider relationship management. 3) Manage the MuleSoft platform enables and ensures efforts deliver accurate, reliable provider and location data for clinical websites and health plan member sites, improving patient and member access, operational accuracy, and overall user experience.

This role will significantly enhance platform governance and compliance, reducing operational risks and driving organizational efficiencies across critical enterprise consumer platforms. It will align corporate services delivery with strategic business outcomes that support student, member, patient, provider, and employee journeys related to Jefferson's vertical and horizontal integration objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Platform Strategy and Planning

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute the roadmap for the portfolio of platforms in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Assist in prioritizing platform work, including enhancements, new features, and bug fixes, based on business needs.
  • Participate in planning for platform releases, updates, and upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
  • Support organizational change management efforts to address business changes (e.g., mergers and acquisitions) and their impact on the platforms.

2. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users to align platform capabilities with organizational objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure effective communication and understanding of platform requirements.
  • Guide stakeholders on the capabilities of the platforms and how they can be leveraged to meet business needs.

3. Platform Management and Governance

  • Support the daily configuration, maintenance, and administration of the platforms within the portfolio.
  • Monitor platform performance to ensure stability, security, and optimal functionality.
  • Promote adherence to best practices, including governance, documentation, and technical standards.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing processes to improve platform efficiency and integration with other systems.

4. Continuous Improvement and Innovation

  • Stay updated on new features and releases for the platforms, identifying opportunities for enhancements.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance platform usability and effectiveness.
  • Support efforts to integrate the platforms with other enterprise systems to improve workflows and collaboration.

5. Operational Support

  • Assist in managing the platforms' book of work, ensuring tasks are completed on time and aligned with business priorities.
  • Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving platform-related issues.
  • Contribute to developing training materials and resources to empower end users and administrator

6. Functional Capability Leadership

  • Provide expert guidance on platform capabilities to business stakeholders.
  • Drive architectural leadership for assessing new platform capabilities and designing solutions.
  • Manage system changes related to platform releases and ensure alignment with organizational need

Key Competencies and Requirements

1. Education

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Experience

  • Experience with digital workplace platforms, intranet solutions, and employee engagement platforms (e.g., Unily, SharePoint, Visix).
  • Experience with CRM platforms ideally Salesforce
  • Experience in platform administration, configuration, and support.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver platform solutions.

3. Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of the core capabilities of the platforms within the portfolio, including intranet solutions, collaboration tools, and integrations with enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of platform architecture, governance models, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with related technologies such as Microsoft 365, MuleSoft, and Salesforce.

4. Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach to platform management.

5. Additional Requirements

  • Experience participating in discovery workshops, including solution presentations and prototype demonstrations.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and self-development.
