Maintenance Coordinator

Shift: MON-THUR 5:00AM-3:30PM FRIoccasionally

The Maintenance Team is responsible for assisting in the administration and maintenance of Vestas tools, and equipment; conducting reporting/inspection procedures, and assisting as directed with the day-to-day Maintenance initiatives within the factory locations. The Maintenance Team is responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, repairing, adjusting, and calibrating instruments/machines responsible for the manufacturing of turbine components.

Responsibilities



  • Develop, maintain and enhance asset hierarchy.
  • Develop PM tasks using both preventive and predictive maintenance principles.
  • Prepare written instructions and documentation on PM procedures.
  • Track data in both planned and demand maintenance situations.
  • Understanding of electricity, hydraulics and mechanical assemblies and parts.
  • Understanding of maintenance prints and symbols, techniques and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment and participate in equipment safety programs
  • Manage completion of tasks put forth through the maintenance scheduling system.
  • Assure compliance in the completion of tasks mandated by ISO standards.
  • Develop and maintain PM procedures to assure a standard operating procedure.
  • Maintain equipment information and repair files within a computerized maintenance scheduling system.
  • Work directly with production personnel and educate on equipment through various methods of training.
  • Perform or assist with work orders, inspections, and equipment maintenance.
  • And all other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Language Ability:



  • Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.


Math Ability:



  • Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.


Reasoning Ability:



  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.


Computer Skills:



  • Expertise and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to quickly develop and enhance skills with maintenance database/software.

Salary: $27.00-$32.00
