Job Overview:

The Commercial Finance Manager will play a critical role in driving financial performance, providing strategic insights, and supporting commercial decision-making within the Component Solutions division. Reporting to the VP, Commercial Finance, this role will collaborate closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to optimize profitability, enhance forecasting accuracy, and improve financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial modeling, and a strategic mindset to support business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes to support commercial initiatives.
• Business Partnering: Work closely with sales, pricing, and operations teams to provide financial insights and support key business decisions.
• Pricing & Margin Analysis: Evaluate pricing strategies, customer profitability, and margin optimization to enhance financial performance.
• Revenue & Cost Analysis: Monitor revenue trends, cost structures, and key financial metrics to identify risks and opportunities.
• Contract & Deal Structuring: Provide financial guidance on commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability targets.
• KPI Development & Tracking: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess commercial success and drive improvements.
• Market & Competitive Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and economic factors that impact business performance.
• Process Improvement: Enhance financial reporting, forecasting methodologies, and analytical capabilities to drive efficiency and accuracy.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or a related financial role, ideally within a manufacturing, industrial, or component solutions environment.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in financial systems, ERP platforms, and advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or similar tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication and business partnering abilities, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of pricing strategies, contract evaluation, and margin optimization.
