Description MaineHealth Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking an experienced Fellowship Trained, Board and CAQ Certified/Eligible, Sports Medicine physician to lead a robust and diverse sports medicine program. The full-time position will include clinical, administrative and leadership roles. The candidate's primary specialty can be in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine or Physiatry combined with advanced fellowship training in Sports Medicine. This position will complement the existing practice of 2 Sports Medicine-specialized orthopedic surgeons, 5 sub-specialty orthopedic surgeons and 6 Sports Medicine physicians, 12 advanced practice providers and 12 physical therapists. Teaching and mentoring of Sports Medicine Fellows will be expected. The candidate will also be expected to participate in outreach team, sporting event coverage and office call as part of the larger group. This position offers:
