We're looking for a passionate, customer centric, entry-level Development Engineer to join our 3D Printing Team in Aurora, Colorado.

As a Development Engineer you'll be responsible for new product development and design activities for 3D printed products and components from conceptualization through product release and production.

What you'll do
  • Conceptualize, design, prototype, develop, test and launch new 3D printed luminaires, components and platforms

  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to bring designs to life through additive manufacturing

  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and help continually improve our design for additive manufacturing competencies across the organization

  • Stay up-to-date on additive manufacturing trends and capabilities to bring new insights to the team

  • Understand and communicate customer, technical and regulatory requirements

More about you
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design or other Engineering discipline and 0-1 years of relevant professional experience.

  • Working knowledge of 3-D modeling software for both solid and surface modelling applications (preferably SolidWorks and Rhino)

  • Experience in new product development process

  • Affinity with Ideation Methods, Design Thinking, and Design for X(assembly, manufacturing, etc.), Agile and Lean methodologies.

  • Familiarity with 3D printing technology and development is a plus

Salary: $62,200 -$91,190 based on experience level

Bonus: target bonus opportunity 5%
