Job Description:

Responsibilities

* Design and develop scalable data architecture solutions using Python and Snowflake technologies.

* Implement and manage Snowflake Tasks to automate data workflows and ensure efficient data processing.

* Utilize Snowflake Streams to capture and process real-time data changes.

* Write and optimize complex Snowflake SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting needs.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

* Provide technical guidance and support to team members on Snowflake best practices and data architecture principles.

* Ensure data integrity and security by implementing robust data governance policies and procedures.

* Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Snowflake databases to enhance system performance.

* Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture processes and workflows.

* Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Snowflake and data architecture technologies.

* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.

* Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner to minimize impact on business operations.

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of data architecture practices and processes.

Qualifications

* Possess strong technical skills in Python Snowflake Tasks Snowflake Streams and Snowflake SQL.

* Demonstrate experience in designing and developing scalable data architecture solutions.

* Have a solid understanding of data governance principles and best practices.

* Show proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.

* Exhibit the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

* Display strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Experience in Product Lifecycle Management is a plus.

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in data architecture technologies.

* Possess excellent communication and documentation skills.

* Demonstrate the ability to provide technical guidance and support to team members.

* Show a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues.

* Have a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.

* Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.

Certifications Required

Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification Python Certification

The annual salary for this position is between $[120,000 - 150 ,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
