This combined team, in collaboration with key partners, builds solutions to serve Marketing, Customer Engagement, Medical Affairs, Public Affairs & Access ("CMG"), and other patient- and customer-facing teams across CMG to shape and drive a seamless, consistent, meaningful, and compliant experience for patients and customers across our interactions. The team is specifically accountable for:

  • Defining omnichannel solutions, shaping engagement strategies, designing, operationalizing, and producing seamless, consistent & meaningful patient and customer experiences.

  • Accelerating, connecting, and enabling the development of digital solutions that enhance the patient and customer experience across CMG.

  • Advancing the mission of seamless, consistent & meaningful patient and customer experiences that maximize patient impact while keeping compliance at the forefront.

Job Summary

The Production Manager, Print will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production, warehousing, and distribution of printed marketing materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of print production processes, optimizing inventory management, and ensuring vendor compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Print operational delivery to ensure seamless execution, including management of vendor teams

  • Operationalize, produce, and optimize products/channels in alignment with campaign and above-champaign / campaign execution plans (CEP) initiations and optimizations from stakeholders to create impactful patient, customer, and payer experiences.

  • Drive on-time business delivery, leveraging project management tools and coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Accountable for timely, high-quality, and high-satisfaction patient and customer experiences.

  • Activate campaign / above-campaign optimization decisions to enhance effectiveness and reach.

  • Support the maintenance of documentation on production processes, channel-specific best practices, and production calendars.

  • Provide product planning and optimization inputs to product teams to improve performance, efficiency, and capacity.

  • Provide input into efficiency opportunities to elevate product processes and performance.

  • Help pull through pilots to test and refine new initiatives as needed in support of product/channel stewardship and deployment.

  • Acts as a subject matter expert and specialist point-of-contact for internal staff and management and external vendors involved in the distribution and/or administration of print materials.

  • Manage warehouse distribution center processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

  • Collaborate with shipping and logistics vendors to optimize the delivery and distribution of print materials.

  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies, including the destruction of expired materials.

  • Comply with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Genentech activities.

Who You Are

Minimum Candidate Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 3 years in campaign operations, marketing production, or omnichannel execution, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality business outcomes on time.

  • Experience managing end-to-end omnichannel or multichannel program / campaign execution, including integrating digital and offline channels.

  • Strong project management skills to lead operational delivery and ensure efficient resource utilization.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to align cross-functional teams and enterprise stakeholders.

Additional Desired Candidate Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.

  • Experience activating above-campaign initiatives into channel experiences and leading product or campaign optimization pilots.

  • Experience managing automated production and publishing processes and working in workflow and publishing systems.

  • Familiarity with omnichannel systems and tools like workflow, campaign automation, CRM, etc.

  • Proven success managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with SLAs and regulatory standards.

  • Advanced proficiency with marketing automation tools and analytics platforms.

  • Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks in campaign management.

  • Experience managing print production, warehousing, and logistics for large-scale marketing campaigns.

  • Proficiency in inventory control, supply chain logistics, and vendor management.

Location

  • This position is based in South San Francisco, CA, however a remote work option will be considered for US candidates who live outside of the Bay Area.

  • Relocation Assistance is not available

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is $113,400 - $210,600. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
