  • Prior to working with individuals served, the Merakey Abuse Risk Prevention Training must be completed.

Description

Paid Interns work within Merakey programs and support departments to gain skills and experience necessary to grow professionally. The role of this intern is to coordinate, analyze, and interpret data from various programs in the Adult Behavioral Health division.

Merakey Paid Interns are responsible for upholding the Merakey Core Values of Safety, Trust, Compassion, Integrity, Diversity, and Quality. While working with and supporting individuals served, it is the responsibility of a Paid Intern to ensure the safety of individuals served by abiding by Merakey policies and procedures including outlined supervision and monitoring practices. Merakey has zero tolerance for abuse and Paid Interns are key in maintaining a safe environment.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Administrative & Client/Customer Support
  • Handles confidential information with discretion and diplomacy
  • Research and Analysis
  • Creates and maintains intermediate to moderately complex spreadsheets and databases and prepares reports, tables, charts.
  • Research, monitors, and analyzes data to produce business insights and action recommendations relevant to proposed business development
  • Ensure the safety of individuals served by implementing supervision and monitoring practices that minimize risk and promote safety of all individuals served.
  • Abide by Merakey policies/procedures as well as program specific regulatory requirements.
  • Implementing Merakey's Incident Management Policy by reporting any concerning behavior or incidents that occur.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA and/or FERPA regulations.
  • Completing required Abuse Risk Prevention Training Requirements.


Starting rate of $15.00 hour
