Hourly Pay Range:

$35.16 - $54.50 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Senior Accountant
  • Location: 3040 Salt Creek Lane, Arlington Heights, IL
  • Full Time
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
  • Hybrid Role: onsite expectations 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant assists in the month-end close, completes account reconciliations, and prepares monthly and quarterly reports, including financial statements. This role also provides variance analysis and commentary to senior management, in addition to supporting ongoing operations. The position will prepare appropriate documentation for internal and external audits.

What you will do:

  • Prepares journal entries accurately and timely.
  • Completes month-end close tasks accurately and timely.
  • Prepare monthly account analysis and reconciliations to ensure financial statements are accurate.
  • Prepares audit workflows for internal and external financial audits and other regulatory audits.
  • Provides monthly reporting and analysis to operational leaders and senior management.
  • Recommends changes and improvements to monthly close process and accounting processes to increase efficiencies and accuracy of information.
  • Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills and able to work independently.
  • Performs special projects and tasks as assigned by management.
  • Knowledge and application of Endeavor policies and procedures that apply to job and area of responsibility.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance preferred.
  • Experience: Four (4) - Six (6) years of prior work experience
  • Public accounting experience preferred
  • Unique or Preferred Skills:
  • PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Workday or equivalent ERP system preferred.
