A leading institution in higher education is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to join its Procurement Services team, working onsite in Greensboro, NC. About the Role As a Purchasing Specialist, you will be responsible for acquiring goods and services that support the mission of the institution. You'll work closely with departments and administrators to ensure procurement activities are conducted efficiently, ethically, and in compliance with state and federal regulations. You'll play a vital role in vendor management, strategic contract administration, and may assist in managing the University Procurement Card Program. This position requires both independence and teamwork, and offers the chance to make a tangible impact within a respected academic environment. Office expectations are Monday-Friday, 8a-5p.
