Position: Japanese Bilingual Accounting Staff
Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid remote, 1-2 times per month office)
Work Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm (can be flexible)
Classification: Non-Exempt, full-time, direct-hire
Overview:
An international company in Torrance is seeking a Japanese Bilingual Accounting Staff to support daily accounting functions and coordinate with internal and external personnel. The ideal candidate should have 2 or more years of accounting experience and be able to efficiently manage a high volume of transactions. Business-level Japanese fluency is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:
Perform daily accounting tasks, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Scan and manage incoming mail, including checks, bank statements, and invoices.
Monitor and conduct transactions for bank accounts.
Post general ledger entries for corporate credit card transactions.
Approve and create payment journals for urgent payment checks.
Prepare various financial reports generated from the system.
Coordinate and resolve accounting issues with other branches and departments.
Continuously seek process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
Business-level Japanese and English proficiency required.
2 or more years of accounting experience is required
Ability to efficiently handle a high volume of transactions.

Experience using ERP systems to perform accounting tasks.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
