Staffmark is currently seeking a DOT Safety Manager to join our dedicated team. This role is essential to maintaining our commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence. If you're passionate about safety and have experience
in managing transportation operations, we want to hear from you!

Salary: $72,000 per year

Schedule: 1st Shift

Responsibilities:



  • Conduct driver orientations and ensure adherence to safety protocols
  • Investigate accidents and provide detailed reports to the insurance company
  • Manage equipment incident reporting and investigations
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations for all drivers
  • Resolve daily driver-related issues to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
  • Provide guidance on Federal DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulations
  • Train drivers on Hours of Service regulations and Electronic Logs (E-Logs)



What We're Looking For:



  • Safety Management Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a safety-related role
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in computers and MS Excel, with strong organizational abilities
  • Communication & Leadership: Excellent skills in managing, instructing, and leading others
  • Ideal (But Not Required): Class A CDL and knowledge of the McLeod System
