Position: Japanese Bilingual Senior Auditor

Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid)

Overview:

An international CPA firm is seeking a Japanese Bilingual Senior Audit Associate to support day-to-day audit engagements for corporate clients. This role operates under direct supervision and may involve audit in-charge responsibilities. The position is open to experienced candidates who require visa sponsorship.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct audits of business transactions and cycles, including cash, receivables, fixed assets, and expense analysis.

Research audit issues using audit software and databases.

Analyze financial statements and internal controls in accordance with accounting principles and auditing standards.

Collaborate with clients to build strong relationships and provide excellent service.

Plan reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet client deadlines.

Supervise staff and manage engagement schedules.

Evaluate accounting procedures and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Must be bilingual in Japanese and English (business level).

Minimum 2 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm required.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required.

Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is required.

Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
