Staffmark is hiring a Shipping Clerk for an exciting opportunity in Louisville, KY. This

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00/hr (based on experience)

Shift: 1st Shift | 8-hour workdays | Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:



  • Weigh inbound/outbound freight using truck scale
  • Handle shipping and receiving paperwork; verify BOLs, invoices, and orders
  • Inspect, prepare, label, and route shipments
  • Maintain accurate shipping logs and coordinate with warehouse/logistics teams
  • Answer multi-line phones, direct calls, and greet/check in visitors
  • Manage filing, scheduling, and general clerical support
  • Assist with freight vendor onboarding and unscheduled load coordination
  • Monitor shipping supply inventory and support mailing tasks
  • Maintain a professional appearance and complete tasks promptly



Requirements:



  • Experience with freight scheduling, BOLs, and truck scaling
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics preferred
