Responsibilities

SummitRidge Hospital provides quality behavioral health and addiction treatment services in Lawrenceville, GA, approximately 25 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Outpatient Therapist who would be based in Lawrenceville, GA. The Outpatient Therapist provides clinical services via group, family, and individual therapy as well as completes social histories and treatment plans as a valued member of a treatment team. It is also expected that the Outpatient Therapist will maintain positive relationships with service providers to function as a service broker and coordinate transition and discharge planning for patients in our care.

SummitRidge Hospital -is a place for Healing and Hope! Our behavioral health psychiatric hospital is in Lawrenceville (about 25 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta). We provide psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment to adolescents, adults, and seniors, in addition to partial hospitalization and other outpatient programs (includes a location in Athens).

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work/Psychology/Counseling
  • A minimum of one year post master's degree, preferred
  • Strong clinical skills to address crisis situations, family, group, and individual therapy
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
