SIGINT Engineer Journeyman

This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.

Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs (CNSP) is seeking a SIGINT Engineer Journeyman to provide technical services for future expeditionary space ground station prototype support.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for SIGINT Engineer Journeyman: $105,000-$110,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

SIGINT Engineer Journeyman Responsibilities Include:



  • Ensure requirements align with government directives regarding future expeditionary ground station objectives.
  • Foster productive cross-functional relationships with employees, contractors and 3rd party vendors/entities to ensure customer-focused results
  • Develop plans, analysis, and designs for multipurpose, SIGINT and geospatially enabled systems that support future expeditionary space ground station prototyping
  • Design and construe to the customer implementation strategies that support future expeditionary space ground station systems integrations, with currently operational system architectures
  • Analyze, develop and communicate recommendations to the customer regarding the future design of the system and network architectures, ensuring optimal systems operations assessments during integration and test events
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, document data and process flow, identify resource requirements for primary resources, secondary resources, ancillary systems, personnel, facilities, and communication.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


SIGINT Engineer Journeyman Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:



  • Active TS/SCI Security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in Systems Engineering and/or Analysis. Experience in process engineering, improvement, and process workflow.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, graphic / visual diagram editing, geospatial maps and imagery.
  • Strong fundamental systems engineering/analysis skill-sets and competencies.
  • Ability to develop and present effective technical presentations.
  • Understanding of GEOINT and SIGINT capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Army TENCAP mission/operations.
  • Knowledge of SIGINT and' GEOINT platforms and architectures with the Army
  • Experience working with the Sensor Integrated Profile (SIP) and the DoD Information Technology Standards Registry (DISR)
  • Knowledge of the OGC Sensor Web Enablement (SWE) standards and sensor integration strategies in alignment with the SWE standards
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
