Technical Writing Lead

Office hybrid in San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA

Job Description:

As a Trailhead Specialist for Industries and Revenue Excellence, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, engaging, and educational content that helps users understand and adopt Salesforce's industry-specific solutions and revenue management tools. You will leverage your content strategy and curriculum development skills to create comprehensive learning paths that cater to a diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write and edit clear, concise, and engaging content that simplifies complex concepts.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other writers to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

  • Develop and execute strategic content plans for Trailhead modules, projects, and trails focused on Industries and Revenue Excellence.

  • Design and develop curriculum that addresses the learning needs of various user personas.

  • Use data and feedback to continuously improve content and learning experiences.

  • Ensure all content aligns with Trailhead's voice, tone, and accessibility guidelines.

  • Stay current with the latest Salesforce industry solutions and revenue management features.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in technical writing, content strategy, or curriculum development.

  • Proven experience in writing for industry-specific solutions and revenue management tools.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce products and ecosystem.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.

  • Experience with content management systems and authoring tools.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

  • A related degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with internal and external enablement content development.

  • Salesforce experience.

  • Familiarity with Trailhead and its content development cycle.

  • Experience in developing content for specific industries such as Financial Services, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Communications, etc.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $127,200 to $213,800. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $138,800 to $233,200. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
