Title : Trainer- (Administrative) Location: Alameda CA ,94502 Duration : 7 months Position Overview: The role is within the Training Department in an administrative capacity, working with Training and HR teams to assist in administering and documenting trainings within a Learning Management System. Hard Requirements: * Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to provide troubleshooting support (e.g., understanding tiers of training requirements). * Strong analytical skills to create and design metrics using tools like MS Excel (formulas such as XLOOKUP, filtering, reporting, and pivoting). * Ability to quickly learn new online electronic systems. Preferred Requirements: * Experience administering a Learning Management System (preferably ISOtrain), performing training assignments, and managing user accounts. * Understanding of training plan structures, including curriculum, modules, and courses. * Project management and senior leader support experience. * Ability to create and analyze reports from system data, determine appropriate data inputs and outputs, and report quality metrics to site leadership. Top Skills: * Attention to detail, accuracy, and good documentation practices. * Problem-solving and process improvement. * Highly analytical. Experience Required: * 2-3 years in Training (Learning Management System) / Quality. Education Level/Certifications: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Daily Tasks/Duties and Department Interactions: * Review requests and forms for accuracy, completeness, and intended outcomes; provide feedback for GDP and ensure complete signature history. * Process training assignment forms and requests; pull supporting reports to assist in completing forms accurately (e.g., target audience, identifying correct modules, assessing impacts to curricula, and including related roles); coordinate communication for approvals with other affected sites. * Support cross-functional managers with training change requests for curricula reviews and creation of new curricula. Metrics: * Not specifically measured, but must keep up with timely responses to training assignment/update requests. Work Environment/Department Description: * On-site in the office 5 days a week, no regular remote work. * The Training Department currently has 6 Training Specialists. * Work is highly administrative and can involve sitting at a desk for long periods. Interview Method: * One panel video interview with the Training Manager and two team members. |
