Clinical Social Worker Psych-ZSFG-Adult-CWCM Full Time 84936BR Job Summary The CSW will provide continuous, comprehensive mental health services including crisis intervention, outreach, therapy and case management to a caseload of severely mentally ill adults who are high users of psychiatric mental health services, often with concurrent substance abuse and/or health problems. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $37.56 - $50.31 (Hourly Rate). To learn more about the benefits of working at UCSF, including total compensation, please visit: https://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu/compensation-and-benefits/index.html Department Description Established in the mid 1990s and initially located on unit 6B at ZSFG, which was then the African-American focused inpatient psychiatric unit, the KP team is the first intensive case management team in the city with an African-American/Black focus. The team serves approximately 100 clients and provides hotel rounds to a small caseload of individuals that are unable to come for medication pick up at the clinic. Required Qualifications CSW I: Master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling or related field from an accredited school of social work or equivalent experience/training and knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position
