Position Title: General Production Wage: $18.50+ $1.55 Shift Premium Shifts: 4th Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Join a Leading Cheese Manufacturer as a General Production Associate! Become part of a fast-paced, clean, and safety-focused environment where you'll assist with various production tasks to ensure high-quality cheese products are made and prepared for shipment. This hands-on role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working as part of a team, take pride in their work, and are committed to maintaining food safety and quality standards. General Production Responsibilities: - Support the production line by preparing, handling, and processing cheese products - Assist with packaging, labeling, and boxing finished products - Inspect products for quality, consistency, and safety - Operate production equipment and perform basic adjustments or maintenance as needed - Maintain accurate records of production and inventory - Keep work areas clean and organized, following sanitation and safety procedures - Move and palletize finished goods using pallet jacks Requirements For General Production: - High school diploma or equivalent (GED), preferred - Prior experience in a production or manufacturing setting, food industry experience a plus - Ability to lift 20-30 lbs. repetitively and perform tasks that require reaching, bending, and standing throughout the shift - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment - Basic math and reading skills for recording counts and following instructions - Basic computer skills helpful (Microsoft Office knowledge a plus) - Willingness to follow all GMPs, safety, and food quality guidelines QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
