Who You Are:

This position will provide Facilities Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (FSRM) execution management support to the United States Space Forces (USSF).

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and prepare facility projects for execution to include prioritization on the Construction Task Order (CTO) to support USSF bases and operating locations. This includes reviewing design completion status and overall program management to ensure highest priority projects are developed and ready for execution in the appropriate fiscal year.
  • Monitor design and FSRM funding to ensure the USSF program is able to execute the highest priority projects.
  • Coordinate with AFIMSC Det 1, USSF/S4, and USSF Bases and Operating Locations to ensure mission requirements are ready for execution.
  • Monitor construction during the year of execution and elevate construction delays and necessary up fund requirements as soon as possible.

Other duties may include:

  • Develop Courses of Actions through use of analytical tools, supporting facts, and estimates, to provide recommendations on strategic basing actions. Coordinate, consolidate, and develop project programming documents (DD 1391s, cost estimates, Basis of Estimates, vector checks in the Comprehensive Planning Platform and other supporting documents) for O&M projects at USSF operating locations following DAFIs, policies, UFCs, and procedures as well as providing analysis and recommendations as needed.
  • Review, analyze, develop, coordinate, staff, and track project approval request packages on Higher Headquarters Project Authorization Tool and Emergent Requirement Request sharepoints, to include analysis of reasonable project requirements, execution method and alternatives, and cost estimates.
  • Support the planning, assessments, and development of USSF FSRM projects and collaborate across the DAF and with other DoD agencies to support program efforts and mission requirements, including the review of planning charette reports and comparative analyses.
  • Assist installations in completion of project validation documentation to support AFCAMP build and MILCON IPL tool upload.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience in FSRM or MILCON.
  • Must have a broad knowledge of Department of Air Force (DAF) and DoD Corporate Processes, USSF/S4 strategic partnerships including OSD, HAF, SAF/IE, AF/A4C, AFIMSC, AFCEC.
  • Facilities project execution and oversight experience in DoD.
  • Must have a Fully Adjudicated DoD Secret clearance.
  • Successful results of preemployment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.
  • Comply with company drug and alcohol policy.
  • Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate's start date.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Headquarters experience with staffing approval packages for facility requirements.
  • Civil Engineer experience in the US Air Force or US Space Force highly desired.

Compensation

Expected Salary: $135,000 - $145,000 per year

Location Requirements

The position will primarily be remote. Preference will be given to those who reside in Colorado Springs, CO or Washington, DC to accommodate occasional onsite meeting requirements.
