TEKsystems is actively looking to hire a Cable Technician near Hamblin County, TN!
*Description* This job will be based in Hamblin County, TN, working in different schools throughout the county. The role involves cabling new portable structures, infrastructure renovations, and fiber optic work. Most days will consist of working inside the schools, although there will be some outdoor tasks. This company is looking for someone who is willing to learn and grow within the company. This project will run throughout the summer, with the potential for permanent hire if the contractor performs well. The ideal candidate is professional and able to integrate smoothly with the team. *Skills* Cat6, Cable puller, Cable installation, Low voltage, Structured cabling, Punchdown, Rack and stack, Wireless access point, Security, Access control *Additional Skills & Qualifications* - Strong work ethic and analytical ability. - Self-starter, motivated, and punctual. - Must have reliable transportation. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
