Overview SRI's Information & Computing Sciences Division is taking on some of the world's most important challenges, creating leading-edge technology solutions that have revolutionary impact. Our researchers are redefining the way human beings interact with machines and with one another through machines, as we define what's next in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computing for the real world. SRI's Computer Science Laboratory (CSL) develops leading-edge tools and methods for areas including computer security, high-assurance systems, advanced user interfaces, computer networking, robotics, biotechnology, and nanotechnology. We study the logical foundations of scalable systems beyond the scope of traditional testing or simulation, and we create and apply high-level tools for rigorous mechanical analysis. CSL is seeking a graduate student intern to conduct advanced research in topics related to applications of machine learning in serverless computer environments, with specific emphasis on performance and graph analytics. This position will work fully remotely for the summer. Responsibilities Candidate will survey relevant research papers, develop prototype software, conduct system evaluations, and write a research paper.
Qualifications
The salary is $40/hr. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
