- Develop, modify, and optimize PLC programs using platforms like Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider Electric.
- Troubleshoot PLC logic issues and perform firmware updates and network communication setup.
- Design, develop, and integrate HMI and SCADA systems (Ignition, Wonderware or Factory Talk View).
- Configure data logging, alarms, and remote monitoring features, and work with industrial communication protocols like OPC UA, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP etc.
- Interpret and create electrical schematics using software like AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
- Select and integrate electrical components and design industrial control panels ensuring compliance with standards.
- Configure and troubleshoot VFDs, Servo Drives, and Soft Starters.
- Implement motor control strategies, including PID tuning and motion control applications.
- Set up and troubleshoot industrial Ethernet networks and integrate automation devices into MES and IIoT platforms.
YOU HAVE:
- Academic Background: Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor's/master's degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics, Automation and must have completed at least their first year of education.
- Relevant Experience: Hands-on experience with PLC programming with brands like Allen-Bradley, GE or Schneider Electric.
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring diagrams, and industrial power systems.
- Demonstrate full use and application of Engineering standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
- Work under a moderate level of supervision and direction.
- Possess knowledge and experience in their discipline while continuously acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills.
- Capabilities to meet physical and environmental requirements:
- Ability to analyze data and visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for a manufacturing organization.
- Collaboration with Information Technology (IT), Operational Excellence (OE), and Manufacturing departments.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
