Job Description

The Role:The Vice President of Corporate Finance will lead and oversee the financial planning, procurement, cash management, treasury operations, and corporate insurance functions for the organization. This executive role is responsible for providing strategic financial insights and recommendations to the executive leadership team, driving the budgeting process, and ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the company. The VP of Corporate Finance will oversee a diverse team of financial analysts, managers, and other finance professionals, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and will play a key role in strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with modern financial tools, implementing process improvements across multiple financial functions, and streamlining workflows for an improved stakeholder experience.

In-Office Position: At Strategy, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are in-office days with Fridays as work-from-home.

Your Focus:

  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Oversee procurement strategies and operations to optimize cost efficiency and supplier relationships.
  • Direct cash management and treasury operations to optimize liquidity and financial stability.
  • Develop and implement corporate insurance strategies to mitigate risk and protect company assets.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support long-term planning and scenario analysis.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure financial discipline and accountability across the organization.
  • Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts, managers, and other finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Extensive experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executive leadership.
  • Direct experience with cash management, treasury operations, and insurance.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting tools, such as Excel and financial planning software.
