Job Description

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Dayshift

Essential Job Functions:

  • Compiles and analyzes statistical data to evaluate price/cost conditions.
  • Analysis of supplier operations to determine capability to meet plant objectives.
  • Supports maintenance of records and documentation to assure compliance with corporate policy and procedure.
  • Resolves discrepancies that arise such as discrepancy pricing, warranty claims, failure to comply with specifications, over shipments, etc.
  • Supports shelf stocking of inventory, disposition of obsolete inventory, and review of reorder point quantities.
  • Reconciles received supply items and reviews spending reports with Team Leaders.
  • Ability to handle projects with tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrates high urgency and strong motivation.
  • Resolve AP mismatches on invoicing, receiving and pricing issues.
  • Research and assist with cost savings opportunities by obtaining quotes from several different vendors.
  • Evaluate plant level contracts and identify risks or areas of refinement to support SSBO spend.
  • Follow up on calls for proposals.
  • General purchase order support as needed.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a program pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in supply chain or business management.
  • Basic understanding of purchasing, supply chain, and operations.
  • General administrative duties are required, and attention to administrative details is required.
  • Experience analyzing data and using Microsoft programs preferred.
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse people and cross-functional teams.
  • Must comfortably interact with employees.
