Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an armed professional in a government setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This armed post requires you to carry designated equipment and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time
Mon 06:00 PM - 04:00 AM
Wed 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
Thur 06:00 PM - 04:00 AM

Responsibilities:

    Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the government facility.
  • Assist with access control by verifying identification and credentials as required by site policies.
  • Document and communicate any incidents, observations, or concerns to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
  • Support emergency response efforts as directed by site protocols and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Armed Security Professional License for the state of Florida.
  • Must have an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.
  • Must have an Armed Designation as required by the post.
  • Must be qualified and authorized to carry and use handcuffs while on duty.
  • Must be qualified and authorized to carry and use pepper spray while on duty.
  • Must be qualified and authorized to carry and use a sidearm while on duty.
  • Must be qualified and authorized to carry and use a Taser while on duty.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
