Job Description

Overview of the Position:

The primary function of this position is to ensure the timely management of Inventory, assist the Quality Control Group as well as Shipping and Receiving. Perform necessary inspection procedures to ensure parts meet all required specifications and standards. Prepare and close out parts for shipping (oil the parts, wrap in plastic, etc.). Prepare required paperwork for parts shipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Learn the ERP system (Quantum) parts sorting / logging program
  • Receipt of incoming parts shipments.
  • Verification of part number(s), quantity and received in good order.
  • Physical placement of all stock items into inventory room.
  • Reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • W/O fulfillment of kits and piece parts.
  • Parts Kitting and appropriate entry into ERP System.
  • Coordination with the Purchasing group to solve parts ordering/receiving issues.
  • Inventory cycle counts.
  • Audits, verifies, and corrects inventory records.
  • Assumes responsibility for proper storage of parts, inventory control, stock- pulls for contracts, bagging and labeling for orders.
  • Properly uses and maintains company equipment such as computers, scan guns, and electronic scales.



Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Must be capable of reading blueprints.
  • Must speak, read and write the English language.
  • Must become an FAA Certified Repairman, if applicable.
  • Should have basic computer software and keyboarding skills.
  • Should have intermediate mathematical skills (Concepts and calculations involving decimals, percentages, fractions)
  • Prior knowledge of AS9110 Quality Policy and Procedure a big plus.

Education / Experience Requirements: Must have H.S. Diploma or GED.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
