Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will take charge of global marketing activities that boost the awareness, visibility, and understanding of products from ABB's Large Motors & Generators division.
The work model for the role is: hybrid; #LI-Hybrid
Please note that the application deadline is May 29, due to the planned downtime of our HR system.
This role is contributing to the Large Motors and Generators division globally. While Shanghai, China is the preferred base, the position may also be located at one of our other manufacturing sites in Sweden (Vasteras), Finland (Helsinki), or India (Vadodara).
Your responsibilities include:
* Developing a product marketing plan aligned with divisional strategy and budget.
* Crafting persuasive value propositions and guiding the positioning of the portfolio in collaboration with product and segment managers, sales teams, and external suppliers.
* Overseeing the creation, production, and release of promotional assets-brochures, catalogues, presentations, technical videos, web content, and more-to support sales and product launches.
* Ensuring every piece of marketing content complies with ABB branding guidelines.
* Generating innovative concepts that highlight our products and solutions.
* Supporting the Communications team with relevant product marketing materials.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, or another technical discipline.
  • 2 + years of professional experience in marketing or technical roles-ideally within a highly technical or industrial B2B environment-demonstrating effective cross-functional project management.
  • A solid comprehension of technical concepts and a passion for them-ideally concerning motors, generators, and wider industrial technology.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Express) and basic video-editing are seen as an advantage.
  • Comfortable working both independently and within global teams.
  • Self-driven, curious, and creative, committed to continuous learning and improvement.
