OverviewMicrosoft is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Foundry Agents Platform team within the CoreAI group. This team is developing a platform that enables both Microsoft teams and third-party customers to create Artificial Intelligence models and applications. This position involves contributing to advancements in AI as the industry evolves. As a Principal Software Engineer on the Pipelines team within AI Foundry Agents Platform, you will play a crucial role in developing a cloud service that enables AI application developers and data scientists to author and process comprehensive AI Agents for Enterprise applications. Responsibilities Understand User Requirements: Partner with stakeholders to determine user requirements and incorporate feedback into future designs. Design: Lead architecture discussions, create design documents, and ensure system architecture meets security and compliance requirements. Coding: Produce extensible and maintainable code, optimize and debug code, and participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards. Implement: Drive project plans, lead experimentation to determine the effectiveness of changes, and ensure safe deployment of solutions. Reliability and Supportability: Maintain live service operations, develop playbooks for issue resolution, and reduce incident volume.
