A postdoctoral scholar is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Nam Chu, within the Department of Cancer Biology and Genetics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. The lab focuses on investigating the impact of posttranslational modifications (PTMs) and allosteric regulation of protein kinases and phosphatases in cancer and neurological disorder signaling pathways. Job Summary: The successful candidate will join a dynamic and motivated research team, utilizing an array of techniques in protein chemistry, biochemistry, peptide synthesis, enzymology, cell biology, and human iPSCs to explore disease mechanisms and the roles of protein kinases and PTMs (e.g., phosphorylation, ubiquitination). The candidate will collaborate closely with team members and mentors to advance ongoing projects. Key Responsibilities: + Conduct cutting-edge research on protein kinases and PTMs, contributing to understanding of cancer and neurological diseases. Required Qualifications: + PhD in chemistry, chemical biology, biochemistry, or a related field. Application Instructions: Interested applicants should submit supporting documentation with their application, including:
