Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Current or temporary physical therapist licensure in the applicable state where services will be performed: MD: Physical Therapist License OR Physical Therapist Temporary License through Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners OR Physical Therapist Compact License OH: Physical Therapist License through Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Training Board OR Physical Therapist Compact License PA: Physical Therapist License OR Temporary Physical Therapist License through Pennsylvania State Board of Physical Therapy OR Physical Therapist Compact License WV: Physical Therapist License OR Physical Therapist Temporary License through West Virginia Board of Physical Therapists OR Physical Therapist Compact License 2. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. One (1) year of physical therapist experience. Provides coordinated and comprehensive patient care including assessment, expected outcomes, rehabilitation interventions and evaluation within an interdisciplinary team approach. Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids and different types of cleaning and laundry chemicals. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 1. Ability to organize and prioritize time and tasks to achieve a well-coordinated work effort and to effectively meet work schedules including an ability to integrate multiple factors which may have an impact on patient care. Level 3 * Meets requirements for previous levels. * Four years of experience. * Twenty Level 3 Proficiencies (if you do not have a certification). * Ten Level 3 Proficiencies required annually (if you have a certification). * Five Level 3 Proficiencies required annually. Level 4 * Meets requirements for previous levels. * Eight years of experience. * Ten Level 4 Proficiencies. * Five Level 4 Proficiencies required annually. * Professional Certification. Level 5 * Meets requirements for previous levels. * Ten years of experience. * Ten Level 5 Proficiencies. * Five Level 5 Proficiencies required annually. * Professional Certification.
