Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist Supervisor, you'll lead a team of mental health professionals while also providing direct care to clients. In partnership with the Program Director, you'll guide the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health services. Your role blends clinical expertise with leadership and management responsibilities, helping to shape and grow our programs.

You'll oversee staff performance, ensure compliance with standards, and take a hands-on approach to improving services and outcomes. This role requires strong clinical judgment, administrative skills, and a passion for working with diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Work

  • Deliver mental health services including crisis intervention, assessment, diagnosis, therapy, and psychological testing.

  • Provide short-term stabilization and consult with other providers.

  • Apply evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of clients across age groups.

Supervision & Leadership

  • Supervise psychologists and other clinicians within your team.

  • Oversee clinical practice standards, recruitment, and staff development.

  • Design, implement, and improve clinical programs in partnership with leadership.

Collaboration & Community Impact

  • Work closely with internal and external service providers.

  • Offer clinical supervision, educational presentations, and contribute to research.

  • Help expand behavioral health services within our medical setting.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure care meets accreditation, legal, and organizational standards.

  • Promote patient safety, cultural competency, and continuous quality improvement.

  • Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology

  • Licensed (or license-eligible) Psychologist in Missouri

  • Solid understanding of mental health diagnosis and treatment

  • Strong psychotherapy and psychological testing skills

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities

  • Leadership experience or clear leadership potential

  • Flexible, proactive, and able to adapt in a changing environment
