Our Sr. Supply Chain Program Manager will be a key contributor on project timelines, cost targets, and overall program delivery for Rivian's Electronic Control Units, in partnership with Volkswagen as part of our newly created Joint Venture. Our new Sr. Program Manager will also partner with Rivian's Lead Program Manager as part of the larger Supply Chain Program Management team to define how both Rivian & VW will work with the Joint Venture on all future products and projects.

This person should thrive while operating in an evolving environment, and have a proven ability to convert early-stage project ambiguity into cross-functional progress.They will have a proactive mindset towards leveraging new technologies for supply chain and project management optimization, be adept at change management, and have a natural drive towards achieving objectives while keeping a wider strategy front of mind. They will preferably have a background and/or experience in data warehousing, analytics, and generating engaging visuals + reports. This position is located onsite in Palo Alto, CA or Irvine, CA.

• Work in partnership with Rivian & VW Semiconductor and Electromechanical Commodity Purchasing teams to collect, organize, and present strategic purchasing information to executive leadership.
• Define, refine, and improve internal ECU supply chain systems & processes
• Uncover and clearly articulate supply chain risks to senior leadership and internal stakeholders
• Act as the "voice of supply chain" when collaborating with cross-functional teams on the
• potential impact of engineering and/or content changes on supply chain cost and timing
• Own data management, analysis, and reporting across an array of applications (Google Workspace, Excel, SAP, Hex, Tableau, Confluence, Jira, etc.)
• Manage short-term projects, ad-hoc escalation requests, and various tasks in support of business needs on short notice

• BA/BS degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Data Science / Management, and/or background in a related field that imparts strong analytical and communication skills.
• 3-5+ years of general supply chain/purchasing experience, tech industry preferred.
• 3-5+ years project management experience
• Adept at building data visuals to communicate clear and concise messaging to senior- and executive-level audiences
• Advanced Excel capabilities with knowledge on constructing pivot tables, charts, and formulas
• Advanced data analysis skills, including the ability to extract, manipulate, and interpret large datasets to drive supply chain improvements.
• Ability to travel as required to support program implementations and stakeholder engagements

Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Irvine, CA Based Applicants: $98,500 - $123,100 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Palo Alto, CA Based Applicants: $107,000 - $133,800 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
