Genesis10 seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager for a full-time, perm position in Coon Rapids, MN. The role will require onsite 2-3 days per week and will be remote one day per week, with some time required in the field at the location. This position will work in Coon Rapids, MN through the end of the year, and will move to Crystal, MN. Compensation: $100,000-150,000 per year, depending on skill and experience level. Job description A local client is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Project Manager to lead our commercial construction efforts across Minnesota and the Midwest. This individual will oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects, with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainable building practices. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with a strong background in construction management, team development, and client engagement. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership to project teams throughout all phases of development and construction. Serve as the primary liaison for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Ensure all project activities align with scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations. Oversee all aspects of construction administration: RFIs, submittals, change orders, invoicing, and compliance documentation. Drive project planning and scheduling efforts to ensure on-time delivery. Develop and manage job cost projections and financial reporting. Support business development by identifying new project opportunities and nurturing client relationships. Mentor project managers, engineers, and support staff to build internal leadership and capacity. Promote and uphold safety culture and compliance with OSHA and internal safety standards. Represent the client at industry events and maintain relationships with professional associations. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field. 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in construction management, with at least 3 years in a senior or director-level role. Proven track record managing complex commercial or institutional construction projects. Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and project reporting. Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Project and Procore preferred. Valid driver's license and ability to meet site access requirements (e.g., background checks, drug testing). Willingness to travel throughout Minnesota and the Midwest (approx. 25%).
