Duties: Responsible for designing Application Programming Interface (API) layers, data models, and API specifications; develop APIs using MuleSoft platform components including API Manager, CloudHub, AnyPoint Studio, Dataweave, and AnyPoint Messaging Queue (MQ); develop solution features following MuleSoft development best practices, ensuring solution performance and system scalability; test and improve performance of APIs in terms of response time, reliability, and resource usage; write Dataweave expressions to transform data and control message content, flow, and processing by selecting and implementing appropriate connectors, routers, scopes, and filters; design and implement comprehensive error handling strategies for applications; drive continuous integration and delivery of APIs using DevOps tools; configure and deploy Mule applications to CloudHub, OpenShift container and single and/or clusters of customer-hosted Mule runtimes; utilize MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform, SOAP, REST, AWS, Apache Kafka, Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, SQL, OpenShift, Java, and Python to perform duties; implement and consume Representational State Transfer (REST) and Single Object Access Protocol (SOAP) web service; create and configure flows, sub flows, and flow processing strategies for reusability and performance; troubleshoot complex production issues with APIs, identify source of the issue, and work with the appropriate team to get the issue fixed; prepare correspondence, manuals, reports, and documentation; analyze and resolve operational and communications problems; analyze and debug complex software programs; and identify, analyze and resolve complex business and technical problems.

Location: New York, NY and various unanticipated locations throughout the US;

Salary: $156,000 per year (standard benefits apply);

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

Experience: Four (4) years in the position above, as an Application Development Team Lead, as a MuleSoft Developer, as a Sr. Engineer, or in a related occupation;

Other Requirements: Experience must include one (1) year's use of all the following: MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform, SOAP, REST, AWS, Apache Kafka, Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, SQL, OpenShift, Java, and Python.

Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.

First Installment*: $500.00 when the candidate begins an assignment through Genesis10 at our client

Second Installment*: $500.00 after the candidate has been on assignment for a minimum period of 6 months.

The candidate must still be on billing at the time the second payment is due for you to be eligible to receive it. *Installments are typically mailed out towards the end of the qualifying month. Please note that depending on when your referral started his/her assignment, payment may not be received until the following month.
