We are embarking on an exciting journey as we transform our time and pay management capabilities from our current Kronos system to take advantage of the broader advanced capabilities of UKG Pro Workforce Management. This transformation brings the opportunity to modernize the end-to-end scheduling process, which varies by the 70+ individual auction locations with limited technology benefits. The deployment of UKG Pro Workforce Management and its advanced scheduling capabilities brings an incredible opportunity to improve the everyday experience for our front-line team members and their managers.

The Enterprise Applications Engineer II is the application expert and business process designer for Advanced Scheduling & Resource Planning at Cox Automotive. They aim to deliver streamlined and efficient application capabilities to meet the future business process requirements based on their understanding of existing and future needs and objectives. The Enterprise Application Engineer works with the business stakeholders to establish the future state application processes and then configures the application to bring them to life for the enterprise while providing level 2 and level 3 production support.

This Enterprise Applications Engineer II will work with a cross-functional scrum team to design, build, enhance, and manage the platforms using Scaled Agile Framework methodology. They will design and maintain the application configuration with input from stakeholders, partners, and the business. Teams will include product owners, application, software, and quality assurance engineers.

As the solution nears launch, they will support integration and user acceptance testing, data migration, and cutover planning and execution. They may develop and deliver product demos and support training material creation and delivery as a subject matter expert.

This role serves as an expert on UKG Pro Workforce Management (UKG Pro WFM) and procedures relating to executing WFM workloads, such as forecasting models, client implementation (communication, schedule changes, optimization, hours increases/reductions), agent efficiency, and process improvement initiatives. Proficient in using UKF PRO WFM for forecasting, scheduling, accruals, timekeeping, and reporting.

The person must be a self-starter who will proactively work with the business to analyze current state, identify requirements, and recommend future state processes and solutions to improve and optimize our future state operations.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Provides thought leadership and recommends design solutions to improve processes, tools, and/or services based on product knowledge, practical experience, optimal outcomes, and best practices to enhance the operating environment
  • Provides knowledge of the UKG Pro Workforce Management (Formerly known as Dimensions) Advanced Scheduler Module
  • Future state process and application configuration ownership
  • Technology delivery ownership
  • Driving a continuous improvement process within WFM
  • Participates in design working sessions and tailoring them to meet business needs
  • Trusted advisor to stakeholders and partners to create and optimize future state design to increase enterprise efficiency
  • Support Cox Automotive business stakeholders in solution design working sessions to enable the delivery of advanced scheduling solutions that meet the business needs
  • Translate business requests into features and user stories in a collaborative cross-functional team and help define functional, integration, and user acceptance test cases
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in application features, capabilities, and business rules
  • Provides ongoing support, monitoring, and maintenance of deployed products
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support
  • Participate in the applicable delivery ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, and retrospectives
  • Partner with Product and Business Stakeholders to understand the product strategy while generating innovative ideas to enable success
  • Ensures regulatory compliance and Shift Governance/Schedule adherence
  • Scheduling experience in multiple skill and multichannel environments
  • Must be able to travel within the US up to 10% of the time


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years' experience in a related field.
    • The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to 2 years' experience; or 6 years' experience in a related field
  • Experience designing, configuring, and supporting UKG Workforce Management Pro (formerly known as UKG Dimensions) or similar scheduling tools (Nice or Aspect)
  • Experience with Flex Scheduling and shift governance in multiple-skill and multi-channel environments
  • Knowledge of timekeeping, accruals, and payroll processes and associated integrations with scheduling capabilities
  • Experience engaging with internal and external customers working across multiple business units to proactively present new solutions
  • Experience working with engineering teams to deliver product capabilities


USD 79,400.00 - 119,000.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $79,400.00 - $119,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
