What You'll Do:

This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining agile and business systems data governance policies, procedures, and standards. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish governance metrics that support compliance with governance policies and guidelines.

  • Work with a team to develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with company goals and objectives.

  • Support the Product Owner, especially with respect to story refinement and product backlog maintenance.

  • Act as a point of contact for stakeholders regarding the product backlog and productdevelopment

  • Elicit, interpret, lead requirement workshop discussions with stakeholders and/or product owners; assist in the development of backlog items and acceptance criteria.

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that they are reflected in the product backlog.

  • Assist and or directly facilitate product demo sessions to key stakeholders and business users.

  • Drive or coordinate preparation of presentation materials and reports.

  • Drive efforts to guide and coach delivery teams to self-organize and achieve objectives, without assigning or dictating the work

  • Contribute to a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised and resolved

  • Participate in and lead regular assessments of Agile Maturity and use the results to guide improved performance though product enhancements or reporting.

  • Drive internal and external communication, improving transparency, and information radiation

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks using Agile best practices and project data

Technical Skills:

  • [Required] Proven ability to work with toolsets including, but not limited to Jira, MS Project, Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and PowerPoint

  • [Required] Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and IT systems design

  • [Required] Familiarity within a ticketing system such as ServiceNow

Education and/or Experience:

  • [Required] bachelor's degree in information technology or 4+ years equivalent work experience

  • [Required] Strong understanding of general Business Systems Governance

  • [Preferred] Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles and practices

  • [Preferred] 1+ year of experience with JIRA, Tableau or Alteryx

  • [Required] Ability to anticipate issues based on experience to help the team avoid or resolve the issues

  • [Preferred] Experience working in the financial services industry

Certificates or Licenses:

  • [Preferred] Scrum Master Certified preferred

  • [Preferred] ITIL Foundations certification preferred

  • [Preferred] PMP certified preferred

Compensation

  • The salary range listed for any given position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at OCC, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education.
  • In addition, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
  • We typically do not hire at the maximum of the range in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a substantial benefits package as noted on www.theocc.com/careers
  • All employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, company and individual performance and are not guaranteed.

Salary Range

$112,000.00 - $147,600.00

Incentive Range

8% to 15%

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award, for which the target range is listed above (see Incentive Range). The amount of such award, if any, will be based on various factors, including without limitation, both individual and company performance.
