Telecommunications Analyst (Hybrid)

This is a hybrid role in our Newton, MA office and is onsite 3x a week.

What you will be doing:

  • Perform month-end P&L analysis for centers, corporate office, and IT specific spending including: review and analyze operating results, explain fluctuations for all Telecommunications services, partner with finance to re-class charges to appropriate cost centers, and initiate adjustments w/respective vendors

  • Partner with Invoice Management Company (PES) to ensure financial integrity and invoice batch approval for all

  • Telecommunications services - Internet/Landline/Phones/Cellular/LD, etc.

  • Responsible for analysis and documentation IT financial project related work, i.e. department specific requests

  • Responsible for cancelling conferencing/landlines/long distance/internet services and equipment for centers, corporate offices, and staff. This includes tracking in our telephone invoice management database and IT Service Desk system

  • Research and conduct trend analysis across Telecommunications market for all services, identifying and reporting on financial impact to the organization

  • Work closely with Telecommunications Specialist, Telecommunications Systems Administrator, and IT Service Desk to facilitate an understanding of the financial impact of Telecommunications services to the organization

  • Create and conduct Invoice Management, Image Silo, and other Telecommunications financial related training

  • Conduct Telecommunications billing audits on corporate programs, i.e. cell phone, conferencing, or LD programs for E- Team and Senior Management

  • Work with Manager, Telecommunications to ensure vendor consistency and reliability of services and billing

  • Abide by Bright Horizons Information Security and Confidentiality Policies and Procedures and Embrace IT Vision

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Financial background experience (i.e. Accounting/Finance/Business), specifically telecommunications billing expertise preferred

Preferred skills:

  • Must have strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with various skill levels

  • High level of patience and courtesy is required to deal with staff and outside vendor billing issues

  • Must have excellent organizational skills, be very detail oriented, and have the ability to multi-task

  • Must have exceptional Microsoft Excel skills and be able to make modifications & updates as needed

  • Will train on specifics of telecommunications industry but a plus if candidate has Telecommunications Invoice experience
