How you'll make an impact:

The Senior Manager, Mobile Application Development will be responsible for leading the engineering teams launching our flagship mobile safety application. As the Senior Manager, Mobile Application Development, you will be a key leader in our strategic innovation roadmap for 2025. Your team's work will reach numerous enterprise customers and millions of consumers. The contributions of you and your team will enhance safety and access to critical safety services for thousands of families, vulnerable individuals, and travelers.

What you'll do:

  • Work closely with product to achieve key strategic milestone and deliverables at a consistently high level of quality and achievement.

  • Own resourcing and the delivery of commitments by your team to ensure product deliveries align with the strategic needs of the organization.

  • Lead a team of mobile engineers across the Android and iOS product line.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

  • Participate in code reviews and other technical oversight activities.

  • Work closely with architecture, Center of Excellence, and your peers across the organization to identify opportunities and pathways for improvement of your team.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, iteration, collaboration, and accountability for commitments.

What you'll need:

  • Minimum 3 years of managing and leading high performing engineering teams.

  • 7+ years' experience designing major aspects of highly scalable, secure, and performant mobile application deployments.

  • 7+ years' experience working in a product-driven development culture focusing on product outcomes.

  • Demonstrable experience and technical expertise in mobile application development.

  • Deep familiarity with agile practices, ceremonies, and outcomes.

  • Experience delivering enterprise SDKs as a product.

  • Experience launching highly scalable mobile applications into iOS app and/or Android play stores.

  • Experience with at least one of these languages: Swift / C# / Kotlin / Java.

  • Nice to have experience with AWS platform.

  • Nice to have experience with high-volume real time messaging systems/MQTT.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must have a legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $95,800 to $175,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
