These will be swing shift hours: *Hours are M-F 1PM - 10 PM to start, but likely will eventually move to 4x10s (i.e. 12PM-11PM, or 1PM - 12AM) This is a long-term ongoing Datacenter Tech opportunity within a new lab. Level 2: - Troubleshoot a variety of servers and isolate the problem that the server is encountering. - Order replacement parts and install them in servers and ship back the defective part to their respective vendors. - Update firmware on servers to ensure the latest version is installed. - Configure IP addresses and default login credentials on servers. - Reach out and assist network admins on any issues they are having with a server that can range from: replacing broken or damaged cables, re-routing cables to different ports on the server or switch, replacing optics on both server and switch ports, changing out parts and installing upgraded versions of those parts in servers. A supporting their DC/Lab teams. - Temporarily rack and stack a server or switch in a cabinet and cable it so the network admin can remotely log in and run configurations on device. - Assist network admins who reach out requesting specific assistance with servers or switch. - Assist out with Level 1 responsibilities as necessary. *Hours are M-F 1PM - 10 PM to start, but likely will eventually move to 4x10s (i.e. 12PM-11PM, or 1PM - 12AM) *Skills* Data center, Rack and stack, Troubleshooting, Stacking, Racking, Cabling, Break/Fix, Infrastructure, Data center maintenance, installation *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
