About the Role: Job Summary We currently have a need for a Technical Writer. The selected candidate will produce technical manuals, technical papers, and project presentations based on input by engineers and technicians. Job Duties
- Produce quality technical documentation from basic input provided by engineers and technicians.
- Setup and maintain technical library of reports, manuals, technical papers, and project correspondence.
- Responsible for the preparation of test reports, certificates and test procedures.
- Interpret technical instructions and log sheets including maintaining a log of reports and update management of project status as needed.
- Research background material to support engineering decisions.
- Maintain and update project management reports and schedules to support technical project managers.
- Work with program managers to incorporate customer edits.
- Other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Business Management
- Minimum 1 year of experience creating reports and documents
- Basic understanding of technical language
- Microsoft office skills required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in English is preferred
- Familiarity with QA testing
- Experience working within a testing lab environment
