About Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS): Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) is a rapidly growing team focused on providing innovative payment solutions to businesses and governments worldwide. We collaborate with Financial Institutions and Fintechs to deliver frictionless experiences that streamline critical business processes such as expense management, compliance, and vendor payments. Role Overview:

If you are passionate about transforming the future of payments in the e-commerce space, this opportunity is for you. As the E-Commerce Platform Solutions Lead, you will spearhead the development and delivery of payment solutions tailored for e-commerce platforms, addressing pain points and enabling B2B transactions. Your visionary leadership, problem-solving skills, and deep understanding of e-commerce payments will be crucial as you work closely with Visa's product development teams and key ecosystem partners, including issuers, technology partners, acquirers, and processors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • E-Commerce Solutions Development:Identify leading e-commerce B2B platforms, and understand their payment pain points. Develop Visa's solution offerings to address these challenges, ensuring seamless integration of embedded payments and data controls.

  • Comprehensive Market Needs Assessment:Analyze the unique needs of clients, countries, and use cases. Identify opportunities where Visa can streamline e-commerce payments, deliver value, and drive innovation.

  • Center of Excellence (COE) Establishment:Lead the creation of a COE focused on e-commerce payment solutions. Conduct market research and industry benchmarking to shape strategic initiatives, collaborating with sales teams to understand the voice of the customer and tailor solutions to alleviate payment pain points.

  • Strategic Go-To-Market Execution:Design and implement GTM strategies that resonate with regional and market sales teams. Leverage Visa's network and external marketing channels to maximize product visibility and adoption.

  • Sales Leadership and Collaboration:Partner with specialized and generalist sales teams on high-impact deals. Drive the initial sales of pilots/use cases, build successful case studies, and provide strategic insights to support revenue growth.

  • Product Configuration and Enhancement:Collaborate with Product teams to build and refine solutions. Deliver input for product roadmaps, integrating client feedback and market demands, and execute projects through issuer engagement and processor agreements.

  • Ecosystem Enablement and Partnerships:Cultivate partnerships with technology platforms and partners, including issuers, acquirers, and processors. Activate the ecosystem to enhance the e-commerce payment landscape.

  • Industry and Partner Engagement:Build and nurture strategic relationships with industry verticals and bank partners, expanding Visa's influence in e-commerce payment solutions.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

* 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

* 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD

* Experience in Product/Sales/GTM in e-commerce platforms or payments.

* Knowledge of e-commerce payment needs and significant pain points and opportunities.

* Familiarity with leading e-commerce platforms and technology solutions.

* Experience setting up initial offerings and use cases with pilot partners.

* Ability to manage and coordinate complex cross-functional teams including technical and non-technical resources.

* Strong results-oriented leader with an analytical and fact-based consultative approach.

* Ability to add value through insightful questioning, offering new ideas, and delivering solutions.

* Team-oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills.

* Ability to work independently and in a matrixed environment, including projects with clients.

* Extensive experience in product development, strategy, and management within the payments or financial services industry.

* Proven track record of executing successful go-to-market strategies.

* Strong understanding of e-commerce platform needs and solutions.

* Demonstrated sales leadership experience with complex deals.

* Experience with payments in e-commerce platforms is a plus.

* Familiarity with Visa products and ecosystem.

* MBA or advanced degree in a related field.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 151,600.00 to 219,950.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
