About Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS): Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) is a rapidly growing team focused on providing innovative payment solutions to businesses and governments worldwide. We collaborate with Financial Institutions and Fintechs to deliver frictionless experiences that streamline critical business processes such as expense management, compliance, and vendor payments. Role Overview:

If you are passionate about transforming the future of payments and providing working capital to businesses, this opportunity is for you. As the Supply Chain Management Vertical Lead, you will spearhead the development and delivery of payment solutions that streamline supply chain finance for companies across multiple industries. Your visionary leadership, problem-solving acumen, and deep understanding of supply chain management payments will be crucial as you collaborate closely with Visa's product development teams and key ecosystem partners, including issuers, technology partners, acquirers, and processors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Finance Solutions:Develop Visa's solution offering to streamline supply chain finance across multiple industries (e.g., consumer packaged goods). Ensure the delivery of an offering that meets the supply chain needs of corporates and suppliers.

  • Comprehensive Market Needs Assessment:Pragmatically analyze the unique needs of various countries, industries, and supply chain participants (e.g., manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers). Identify the top opportunities where a Visa can streamline supply chain finance, deliver value, and drive innovation.

  • Center of Excellence (COE) Establishment:Be the architect of a COE focused on supply chain payment solutions. Conduct market research and industry benchmarking to shape strategic initiatives. Collaborate with regional sales teams to understand the voice of the customer, ensuring our solutions are tailored to alleviate payment pain points and deliver tangible value. Harness the power of data analytics and build a compelling value proposition that differentiates our offering in the market. Define product characteristics such as payment periods to meet diverse industry needs.

  • Strategic Go-To-Market Execution:Design and implement GTM strategies that resonate with regional and market sales teams. Lead the development and execution of a multi-year vertical strategy. Leverage Visa's extensive network and external marketing channels (social media, B2B, conferences) to maximize product visibility and adoption.

  • Sales Leadership and Collaboration:Partner closely with sales teams on high-impact deals. Successfully sell in the first pilots/use cases, build successful case examples, and provide strategic insights and support to drive revenue growth.

  • Product Configuration and Enhancement:Partner with Product teams to build and refine solutions. Deliver input for product roadmaps, including the voice of the market and clients. Execute projects through issuer engagement, processor agreements, and collaboration with Sales, Partnership, and Marketing teams.

  • Ecosystem Enablement and Partnerships:Identify and cultivate partnerships with key technology platforms and partners, including issuers, tech partners, acquirers, and processors. Activate the ecosystem to launch this vertical and enhance the payment solutions landscape.

  • Industry and Partner Engagement:Build and nurture strategic relationships with industry verticals and bank partners. Expand Visa's influence and footprint in supply chain payment solutions, positioning us as a leader in this transformative space.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

* 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

* 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD

* Experience in Product/Sales/GTM in commercial banking or payments

* Knowledge of supply chain finance and management, payment needs associated with supply chain management, and significant pain points and opportunities. Familiarity with the leading banks and technology platforms for supply chain finance. Experience working managing supply chains or providing supply chain financing.

* Ability to understand the market needs and demands to set up the first offering and several use cases with pilot partners

* Ability to structure, manage,and coordinate complex cross-functional teams including technical andnon-technical resources

* Strong results-oriented leader, analytic and fact-based consultative discipline

* Add value to customers by insightful and thoughtful questioning, offering new ideas, and delivering solutions

* Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, includingstrong oral and writing capabilities

* Ability to work with leading industry partners and negotiate effectively to achieve desired outcome

* Able to work independently andin a matrixed environment, including on projects in conjunction with Clients.

* Extensive experience in product development, strategy, and management within the payments or financial services industry.

* Proven track record of establishing Centers of Excellence and executing successful go-to-market strategies.

* Strong understanding of supply chain management and commercial card solutions across multiple industries.

* Demonstrated sales leadership experience with the ability to collaborate effectively on complex deals.

* Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

* Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

* Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

* Experience with payments in supply chains is a plus.

* Experience in diverse industries, including CPG, manufacturing, and retail.

* Familiarity with Visa products and ecosystem.

* MBA or advanced degree in a related field.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 151,600.00 to 219,950.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
