Business Analyst - Esoteric - Lewisville, TX - Monday to Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM

Under minimal supervision, the Business Analyst performs research, review, and analysis of data sources in multiple systems and at multiple sites, as needed. This position is responsible for ongoing analysis of business information, obtained from a variety of sources, including laboratory, financial, and demographic data. It involves development and preparation of material for team members and customers.

Pay Range: $68,200+ per year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

  • Perform data analysis in support of ad-hoc and standing customer requests.
  • Provide team support across territories, offering creating insights into new analytical tools, processes and methods that support the overall goals of improved business relationships and support.
  • Perform mapping of demographic data, test code and related price information enabling consolidation of customer data to provide a global customer view. In essence, the development and continued provision of a customer business assessment enabling a proactive and strategic approach to business retention.
  • Research new data sources and analytical tools; contribute to newproduct development and improvement in product delivery and presentation.
  • Assignment of special projects as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policy and government regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Work Experience:

  • Minimum of five years' experience in a high volume, laboratory customer services environment.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.

Knowledge:

  • Must have a global understanding of departmental and corporate systems: LIS, QDSS,QDRS, and other company utilized systems in order to successfully facilitate analysis.
  • Intermediate knowledge of testing names and methods to facilitate test cross-mapping.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools (Access, Excel, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx), knowledge of data analysis methodology, use of presentation software, strong communication skills and a strong commitment to and affinity for delivering the highest level of customer service.
  • Able to think analytically, conceptually, and systemically. Able to collect and research data, draw valid conclusions, and make appropriate project decisions.
  • Possess strong general business acumen - understanding business financials and metrics. Ability to apply industry knowledge to evaluation, analysis, and interpretation of data and make appropriate business recommendations.

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessaryto effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and internal personnel, including excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively across different work groups, including virtual work teams.

Bachelor's Degree(Required)
