We're looking for a Staff Product Designer, Construction Intelligence, to join Procore's Product & Technology Team. In thisStaff Product Designer, Construction Intelligencerole, you'll drive the design strategy and execution for our end-to-end customer AI Agents experience across all Procore products, ensuring new users quickly and effectively engage with Procore's AI offering. You'll partner with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Support, to craft intuitive and effective AI Agent experiences that drive user adoption and satisfaction. Use your strategic design thinking, user research insights, and strong communication skills to connect the dots between teams and create high-impact, measurable outcomes for our users.

This position reports to the Sr. Director of Design for Construction Intelligence and will be based in our Austin, TX office.

What you'll do:

  • Define and drive the design vision for AI Agents, leveraging deep customer, business, and industry understanding to create seamless, engaging user experiences.

  • Champion the needs of our users by deeply understanding their pain points, fostering empathy, and promoting a user-centered mindset across the organization.

  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers to shape product direction, refine requirements, and connect design decisions to business outcomes and key metrics.

  • Lead discovery, strategy, and design refinement activities, including generating insights from user research, breaking down strategies into actionable design steps, and developing high-fidelity deliverables.

  • Partner with engineering to ensure the feasibility and quality of design deliverables, providing guidance during grooming sessions and QA processes to maintain high standards.

  • Communicate design strategies, decisions, and results effectively to stakeholders, using data and research to support your recommendations and articulate the impact of design on user and business goals.

  • Serve as a mentor and guide to other designers, providing feedback and leading design efforts across projects.

  • Leverage and advocate for the patterns, content, and solutions created by our Design System, Content Strategy, UX Research, and DesignOps teams, and make contributions that provide value to the department

What we're looking for:

  • 8+ years of experience designing world-class digital products with a strong portfolio showcasing your strategic thinking, research process, and design execution.

  • Demonstrated expertise in leading design strategy, discovery, and refinement, with a track record of delivering high-impact solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills, adept at presenting designs and justifying decisions to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Strong ability to connect the dots across multiple team experiences, translating deep customer, business, and industry insights into actionable design plans.

  • Experience working in agile product development environments, partnering effectively with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Support teams.

  • Proficient in leveraging data and user research to drive design decisions that exceed product and user outcomes.

  • Passion for crafting delightful user experiences and a deep understanding of the onboarding journey.

QualificationsAdditional Information

Base Pay Range $168,560 - $231,770. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
