We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Tastepoint by IFF team as a Senior Flavorist, Sweet. Your focus will be creating great tasting products by working on some of the most exciting projects in the flavor and sweet products industry today.

This is an incredible opportunity to help bring new flavors with proprietary technologies to our customers. You will collaborate with other technical experts to develop flavors that will win in the marketplace. In this role, you will have opportunities to contribute to the business growth via enhancement of IFF Flavor product portfolios.

  • Works independently and within project teams on customer briefs to create, duplicate, or modify flavors. Works closely with sales to translate customer requests into flavor technology solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage significant commercial workload

  • Expert in utilizing technologies and knowledge from Innovation platforms

  • Proactively evaluates and determines value of new and unique materials

  • Creates production ready formulas that align with regulatory, quality and manufacturing

  • Expands and strengthens customer relationships

  • Leads technical presentations to internal and external customers

  • Mentors' junior talent in the organization.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience (Min Requirement) 10+ years' experience as Flavorist

  • The preferred candidate will have expertise in sweet categories, including dairy and beverages. Experience in modulation is a plus

  • Minimum entry level is a science degree (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, etc.), preferably a master's degree in food technology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Food Engineering and/or Chemistry Engineering

  • Able to translate customer needs into flavor technology solutions

  • Willing to travel to meet customer project needs
