Primary Function:

The Regional Reliability Specialist, under the guidance of the Supervisor Terminal Reliability will assist the Regional Maintenance Supervisors in the planning and execution of the Reliability / Mechanical Integrity Programs. The position will work directly with Technical/Maintenance/Operations management and technicians to ensure efficient and effective use of SAP-Plant maintenance to plan and schedule resources to conduct maintenance activities which result in minimal downtime and maximum productivity.

Work with the Regional Maintenance supervisors and facility level leadership to ensure Work Order process is followed:



  • Travel to facilities to participate in evaluations and assist with SAP PM issues.
  • Work Requests become Work Orders
  • Scheduled work (PM Calendar)
  • Work Order Planning - Prioritize Work Orders
  • Work Order Assignment - Internal or 3rd party maintenance technicians
  • Track ODR findings


Assist Operations with building and maintaining company functional locations, systems, sub-systems, and equipment structure in SAP PM.



  • Maintain SAP Maintenance structure and asset database.
  • Develop and Manage - Critical equipment / parts inventory
  • Create and Update PM/PdM plans (Maintenance Calendar)
  • Participate in Equipment Failure Investigations facilitated by the Supervisor of Facility Reliability and MI.


Budgeting:



  • Assist in developing facility level annual maintenance budgets
  • Work closely with Regional Maintenance Supervisors and Facility leadership to manage the annual maintenance spend to keep it within budget.


Continuous Improvement Initiative:



  • Troubleshoot technical SAP PM issues
  • Track and Measure WO performance


    • Days outstanding, mean time to repair, mean time between failure metrics, etc.
    • Facilitate Equipment Failure Investigation process
    • Generate reports for management and operations as requested.
    • Conceive, design and deliver technical training for Operations.



Work with Supervisor Reliability:



  • Provide support and testing during the upgrade process for SAP PM.
  • Maintain documentation for the processes being utilized in SAP PM
  • Develop a document repository.
  • Ensure ODR program success



Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position, including, but not limited to, are listed below:



  • * CMMS data base experience, SAP PM preferred
  • * General software computer skills necessary to support the configuration, implementation, and use of SAP PM
  • * Possess a general working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • * Effective time management and organizational skills
  • * Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities and minimal supervision.
  • * Possess analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • * Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • * Team Player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • * Can meet requirements of state and federal regulation governing vehicle operations
  • * Ability to travel up to 25% of total work hours for data gathering, auditing, meetings and training.


Required Education / Experience is commensurate with the selected Job Level:



  • * The Associate Specialist level requires a bachelor's degree o equivalent experience and 0 - 2 years of relevant job-related experience.
  • * The Specialist level requires a bachelor's degree o equivalent experience and 2-5 years of relevant job-related experience.
  • * The Senior Specialist level requires a bachelor's degree o equivalent experience and 5-8 years of relevant job-related experience.
  • * The Lead Specialist level requires a bachelor's degree o equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job-related experience.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • * Experience with plant regulatory compliance or other schedule driven maintenance activities related to equipment and work order management.
  • * Knowledge of general CMMS system structure, functionality, navigation, and reporting capability.
  • * Knowledge of PSM, Refinery Process Unit and/or fuel terminal operation and maintenance-based activities.
  • * Understanding of Planning/Scheduler roles and responsibilities.


Working Conditions:



  • * Usually, Normal office working conditions
  • * Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • * Occasional overnight travel.
  • * Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperatures conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
