Principal Software Engineer

As a Principal Software Engineer, you play a role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our software solutions. Your expertise in software development and commitment to delivering high-quality, compliant solutions for our customers will guide your day to day. You will work with a variety of technologies and frameworks to complete tasks in an efficient manner. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions in an agile environment.

• Develop and maintain enterprise software applications.
• Collaborates with the product team on requirements elicitation to deliver software.
• Authors and reviews unit/integration tests.
• Participate in code and software review processes.
• Collaborates with product, test, and software engineering organization members.
• Demonstrates clear leadership across multiple unrelated segments of the broader software organization.
• Plays a lead role on strategic initiatives that deliver significant business value to Certara.
• Able to lead multiple teams and gain consensus through technical and facilitative leadership.
• Thinks strategically across one or more technology, application, or product areas
• Capable of a near executive level of strategic planning, evaluation, and goal setting.
• Utilizes a strong understanding of the business and organization to make effective and efficient decisions.

• 10+ years of experience in similar roles.
• Experience working in a highly collaborative agile software organization.
